Delicious Vanilla Crepes!
I got a request for crepes. I just want to say that crepes are super easy to make and it’s so delicious. You can use regular milk not skim and regular AP flour. Enjoy!
- 1 1/2 cups skim milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
- 2 tbs white sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 5 tbs melted butter
Filling (options):
- Whipped cream
- Ice cream
- Cream cheese filling
- Ricotta cheese
- Cottage cheese
- Peanut butter
Fruit (options):
- Berries – strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, etc.
- Apples
- Peaches
- Bananas
- etc.
Sweetener (options):
- Nutella
- Melted Chocolate
- Chocolate Syrup
- Caramel
- Cinnamon Sugar
- Powdered Sugar
- Maple Syrup
- Honey
- Jelly
- Jam
Step 1. Ingredients for this recipe needed:
- Vanilla extract – 2 tbs
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- All-purpose flour – 1 1/2 cups, sifted
- Skim milk – 1 1/2 cups
- 2 whole eggs, plus 1 yolk
- sugar – 2 tbs
- melted butter – 5 tbs
In a large bowl, mix together the milk, eggs and yolk and vanilla. Stir in the flour, sugar, salt and melted butter until well blended.
